Se vieron buenas rondas de casi cuarenta participantes, en la modalidad de “Jam Session”, en la que cuatro riders, tras una ronda de presentación individual, se baten al mismo tiempo durante cuatro minutos y deben ir pasando sucesivos cortes hasta llegar a la gran final, reservada sólo para los más aptos. Todo esto se tradujo en un espectáculo inigualable que fue capaz de levantar de su asiento al numeroso público que se había concentrado.

Mención especial para el “aprendiz de brujo” Dani León que, con tan sólo doce años estuvo a punto de hacer sonar la campana, quedando segundo muy cerquita del ganador. El equipo de riders de Quiksilver dio una exhibición en la que destacó Daniel Cardone, ganador de la final de Malmö del año pasado y Alex Giraud, el increíble local de Marsella.

La jornada además estuvo amenizada por conciertos y todavía a última hora de la tarde se veía mucho movimiento en el recinto.
