La ciudad de Valencia y concretamente los Jardines del Turia han acogido la quinta parada del Movistar Street Tour, donde 2.500 espectadores han podido disfrutar de un entorno donde el deporte urbano ha sido el protagonista.
Tras el éxito del año pasado, Movistar Street Tour ha vuelto a Valencia y se consolida como una de las canteras más fructíferas del deporte urbano español. En la explanada de los Jardines del Turia tuvo lugar la quinta etapa de esta gira que recorre este verano siete ciudades de España y que pondrá su punto y final el próximo día 5 de septiembre en Sevilla. Valencia volvió a vibrar con el Movistar Street Tour.
Desde las 12.00 horas del sábado la diversión estuvo a punto para los 2500 visitantes que pasaron por Movistar Street Tour, y que estaban expectantes ante la llegada de la gira que ya en 2009 fue todo un éxito. El espacio de 2.500 metros cuadrados decorados con una estética urbana muy cuidada, estuvo perfectamente dispuesto para recibir a los cientos de jóvenes que se acercaron con sus skates, sus patines inline o sus bicis de BMX. El objetivo estaba claro: disfrutar del deporte urbano al máximo.
Los dos puntos más reclamados fueron el Halfpipe y los módulos de Skate donde las futuras promesas del sector midieron su habilidad, técnica y estilo en emocionantes competiciones, cuyos ganadores fueron recompensados con atractivos premios en metálico.
Otras zonas como la de Fingerskate, con cinco nuevos skateparks, y sus respectivas competiciones; el Streetball, con el “rey de la pista” en sus cuatro canchas; o la zona de Grafitti, en la que Aryz, el artista invitado, pintó dos espectaculares graffitis relacionados con el evento, tuvieron multitud de seguidores.
La música, el buen ambiente, la retransmisión en directo de las competiciones y los llamativos premios, han sido los principales reclamos para que Movistar Street Tour haya estado repleto de público que ha disfrutado de las actividades durante todo el fin de semana.
Además la zona Lounge, exclusiva para clientes Movistar, también recibió un gran número de visitas de quienes quisieron descansar y tomar un refresco para continuar más tarde con la diversión.
