Tony Hawk junto con algunos compañeros hicieron una exhibición en Barcelona en la parada nº3 del tour que ha emprendido por Europa. La Plaza de Mar fue el lugar que acogió este gran evento con un total de más de 25.000 espectadores.
Tony Hawk, el mejor skateboarder de todos los tiempos, ofreció el pasado domingo un fabuloso espectáculo en Barcelona, la meca europea del skateboarding. Con esta ya van 3 las paradas del Quiksilver Tony Hawk & Friends European Skateboarding Tour, y Tony volvió a demostrar por qué es el mejor.
Más de 25.000 personas se congregaron en la Plaza de Mar junto a la playa de La Barceloneta, donde Tony Hawk, juntos a sus colegas Jessie Fritsch, Sandro Dias, Neil Hendrix y Kevin Staab, además de un par de jóvenes riders del equipo Birdhouse, se superaron a si mismos ofreciendo este espectáculo único ante una masa de seguidores entregados que rodeaba la rampa provisional más grande de Europa, construida especialmente para el evento.
Todos ellos dieron muestra de sus mejores trucos: aéreos y lipstricks, de la vieja escuela y los mas modernizados, pero el publico terminó de entregarse, realmente, cuando el “Hombre Pájaro”, es decir, Tony Hawk, sentenció la jornada con un perfecto 900°.
Tras varios intentos fallidos, aunque igualmente espectaculares y celebrados por los espectadores, Tony logró por fin enlazar los dos bucles y medio que le valieran su título de leyenda.
“Nunca antes en mi vida había patinado frente a tanta gente, ha sido impresionante” declaraba Tony al bajar de la rampa.
