La final europea de la competición de surf sub-16 King Of The Groms –organizada por la marca Quiksilver- se va a celebrar esta semana en Zarautz; concretamente el viernes 7 y el sábado 8 de agosto.
La cita es histórica, y es que, tras más de quince años, es la primera vez que la final se celebra fuera de Francia. Además, Aritz Aranburu hará de padrino de lujo después de su histórica actuación en Tahiti, ya que la ganó hace diez años.

Por si fuera poco, el sábado a la noche habrá saltos de surf gracias a la iluminación especial que se colocará en la playa. Es la primera vez en la historia que se celebra un evento nocturno de estas características en Europa, y tanto el montaje como el espectáculo van a ser de los grandes.
