La Federación Mexicana de Surfing, la Asociación de Surf del Estado de Oaxaca, NeoFreak, el Gobierno y la Secretaria de Turismo del Estado de Oaxaca, con el apoyo de la Regiduría de Turismo de de Santa Maria Colotepec, presentan el SURF & MUSIC FESTIVAL, cierre del circuito nacional mexicano de surf 09, del 14 al 17 de mayo.
El festival se realizarça en dos spots, uno en Playa Zicatela, y el otro localizado en la playa de La Punta de Zicatela, en Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca.
Además, el 11 de mayo se celebrará un Curso de Certificación de Jueces de Surf en el Hotel Arcoiris de Puerto Escondido, obligatorio para jueces que calificaran el cierre del circuito.
